Media Professionals

I offer psychological consultation to writers, producers, directors and production teams, combining clinical expertise with an extensive professional background in film and television in Hollywood and Scandinavia.

I am a Chartered Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist and Counselling Psychologist. I also hold a BA in Screenwriting and an MFA in Film Producing from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and have worked across script development and production with independent companies and major studios.

Script, character and story consultation

I advise on character psychology, relationships, trauma, addiction, mental health and behavioural patterns. Drawing on my screenwriting and producing background, I can explore how psychological understanding informs dramaturgy, character motivation, emotional development and the credibility of a story.

Consultations may focus on a specific character or scene, a relationship dynamic, a script in development or the portrayal of a psychological condition. The aim is to support compelling creative work with believable human behaviour and an informed understanding of mental health.

Consultation for productions and creative professionals

I also consult on the psychological wellbeing of people working within media, including the pressures associated with demanding productions, public exposure and high-profile careers. The scope of this work is agreed according to the needs of the individual, team or organisation.

Alongside consultation, I provide individual and couples therapy for creative professionals and their partners and families, addressing personal, relational and psychological challenges.
